What is first primeco phone?

PrimeCo was a wireless telecommunications company that was founded in 1987 and was primarily based in Texas, USA. In 1996, PrimeCo launched its first phone which was the Nokia 2160. It was a GSM phone and was the first phone to operate on the 1900 MHz PCS band. The phone had a flip design and featured a monochrome screen, a rechargeable battery, and customizable ringtones. Although it was a relatively basic phone compared to today's standards, it was a significant milestone in the evolution of wireless phones as it made use of the newly-available PCS spectrum. The PrimeCo Nokia 2160 became popular quickly, and the company later introduced several other phones in the market, including the Motorola StarTac, Audiovox 8900 and Nokia 5165, among others. In 1999, PrimeCo was acquired by Verizon Wireless, and the PrimeCo brand was eventually phased out and replaced by Verizon Wireless.
